Fundraising and Development Coordinator
Rocio Caicedo Torrado is passionate about interculturalism, sustainability, food, and cultivating collaborative relationships between individuals and organizations.
She developed her professional experience in corporate sales, account management, and business development at Hewlett Packard France where she worked in the Financial Services and Imagery and Printing Department for almost 10 years.
Drawn to work on sustainability issues, Rocio pursued a Masters in Economics and Sustainability Management while living in Rio de Janeiro, where she also worked as a sustainability consultant for the RioSustentavel Program helping small restaurants to implement sustainable waste management practices.
Her first experience in the nonprofit sector was with Ekloos Institute in Rio. As a volunteer, Rocio utilized her affinity for strategic planning and collaborative participation to help local nonprofit organizations in improving their organizational management and development plans.
Rocio obtained her BA in Finance and International Relations at the University Externado de Colombia in 2000 and her Masters in International Commercial Negotiation at Paris III- Sorbonne Nouvelle in 2002. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
