Patricia is the founder of La Cocina VA. What started as a personal endeavor has developed into all-encompassing social enterprise and community service venture.
She is a highly motivated entrepreneur and possesses a remarkable ability to generate partnerships and reach agreements among civic-minded members of the community from a variety of backgrounds. An analytical thinker with strategic foresight, Patricia displays an abundant capacity to design, develop and implement sustainable community projects. She enjoys an outstanding knowledge and awareness of the Hispanic community and culture in the United States.
For the past three years, Patricia has worked in international development with a multilateral organization in Washington, DC that supports efforts in Latin American and Caribbean countries to reduce poverty while promoting equality.
Throughout her 20-year professional career, Patricia has developed marketing strategies within different fields in South American countries as well as throughout the United States.
Patricia’s expertise in strategic planning, business development, marketing and project management, backed by her communication and leadership skills, will ensure success for this valuable social and community service project.
Patricia holds a degree in business administration.
